Zelltec Construction was contracted to deliver the internal and full external refurbishment of timber sash windows, doors, and masonry to a Grade II listed retail building over three floors. Works began with the installation of fully compliant access scaffolding to all external elevations. Detailed schedules of repairs were prepared for masonry, glazing, and joinery, specifying the use of appropriate restoration techniques such as timber care repair systems, timber splicing, or full timber replacement. These schedules were agreed with the contract administrators, with works completed by both specialist subcontractors and in-house trades. The project also included the redecoration of internal and external joinery, as well as external masonry. All works were carried out while the store remained fully operational, with minimal disruption to trading.
