Luton’s Stockwood Academy wanted a dedicated centre to provide students with a place to study vocational skills. The brief was to construct a new build while school life could still go on uninterrupted. Knowing Zelltec’s impeccable reputation for seamless logistics management, the Shared Learning Trust commissioned us to complete the full design and build of a standalone, high specification teaching outbuilding located within the existing school grounds.

  • Full design & build, incorporating the use of sustainable materials with high performance and durability properties

  • Full logistical management to ensure the main school could remain open during construction

  • Installation of new incoming services, including power, water and data 

  • Installation of power, lighting and access control throughout

  • Installation of attenuation tanks for rainwater management into existing rainwater systems

  • Repairs to existing external hardstandings and fencing areas

  • Installation of high performance windows and doors throughout

  • Meeting client criteria with installation of teaching rooms, kitchens, reflection rooms and offices
